 Hi, Good morning/ afternoon, in regarding the topic in question, i do not have a specific page to read things about anthropology. Most of the places and websites i read are from scientific journals and articles. but, the articles that i read the most from a magazine are from the scielo. and in some books. I don't have many, but the biggest is an-enciclopedia, of the editorial Cosar DK, where it has a section where it talks about human evolution, apart “talks” about the animals of prehistory. But speaking of websites, I think it would be Antropología visual, a website that I don't visit much, but what i've seen in that. It was quite interesting and informative, they show you the articles visually, especially with videos, which can be short or documentaries, these are made by anthropologists and other specialists depending on the topic that is touched, although there are pages that can be better, this one is very useful to enter the world of anthropology.

Topic A: Coice of two topics

Hi, the truth is that i am very picky with food. but despite that I enjoy a lot, as is chocolate, i think I've liked it since i was little, especially the milk one, because i don't like dark chocolate, i find it very sour. The chocolate is obtained when cocoa paste, sugar and milk are mixed, then put them in some molds and wait for them to dry. I like it because it is sweet and smooth in texture. my favorite brand is Toblerone and another that I don't remember the name, i also like the ones with almonds or hazelnuts. I eat it whenever i can, whenever i do i try to make it sugar free or sweetened with stevia or another sweetener. This is because I am a little overweight and have a chronic illness which makes me worry a little more about this, however i don´t have problems with sugar.

My favourite piece of technology

Hi, the truth it´s very difficult, i think it would be the cell phone, it´s that i use the most, i see videos and read novels, comics and manga on it, i take it everywhere mostly. However, i do not completely depend on it though, i don't need to have him by my side all time, but i need to know where is it, that makes my life easier, it helps me organize, i'm very disorganized. For someone who has been familiar with current technology it is easier to use it, with the exception of the elderly and young children as it can affect them badly. In addition to reading and watching videos, you can take photos and download video games. It has functions similar to those of a computer, but to a lesser extent, and its internal storage capacity is less.

Why did i choose my major?

 In my childhood (and a little now) i loves the dinosaurs, i think it was when i was 3 years, when i started to see the franchise of The land before time (Pie Pequeño), also i see Jurassic Park, i remember that my mom told me that the first time when i saw it, i laughed at the scene where the T-Rex ate the lawyer in the bathroom, apart from the fact that i had many things about dinosaurs such as figures, games and others, for this i wanted to be a paleontologist. 

My others options of study are many, although anthropology was my first option(and the one i liked most) the most art related, for example, art and design, although i would have also liked to have paleontology option, but there is not in Chile, except in the U. Austral de Chile, that is very far. i decided for the anthropology major 3 years ago, why is similar (broadly) to paleontology and i also liked and read about it. Personally my experience in the university it has very good, i don´t have many friends, but the one´s i have are wonderful.

1. Who am i?

Hi, my name is Amaranta. I have 18 years, i was born in Viña del Mar in november 13 of 2003 in Chile, but i grew up in Villa Alemana, though i live now in Santiago, the capital of the country, studyng antroplogy. in most of my life i study at Colegio Robles, a little school in Villa alemana, my first friends i made there.

My extended family is big, but my close family is my mom, my dad and my maternal grandparents  because my paternal grandparents are dead. I have 4 direct cousins, 3 are sons of my paternal aunt and one of my maternal uncle, but he and my cousin lives in Quebec (Canada). Im native american for my dad side (Mapuche), italian descent and canadian for my mom (because she growing up there).

Some things i like is the anime and manga, special Shingeki no kyojin (Attack on Titan), Yakusoku no Neverland (The promised neverland), Boku no hero academia (My hero academia) and some movies from Ghibli studios for example Princess Mononoke and Totoro. But also i like series, like The Law and Order (UVE), The Umbrella Academy and Stranger Things, I like movies and novels from Harry Potter and Jurassic Park.

I like the nature, the animals, like whales, hummingbird, beetles, owls, opossums, among others, the plants, in especially the thees, like the araucarias, oak and the flowers. when i was a child i loved dinosaurs, i had many movies and toys of from them, digging in the dirt looking for boons, and i have 3 dogs, Aucan, Panchita and Anya.
